Industry Nine expands fat bike range, adds center lock hubs

The HED BAD rims utilize a single wall construction that is optimized for tubeless setup and have an inner diameter of 76.0 mm (hence the name).

Industry Nine’s BigRig family has grown to four with the launch of the new 760 platform. This wheelset combines their American-made hubs and alloy spokes with HED BAD alloy rims to create a complete wheelset that weighs as little as 2150 grams depending on axle configuration. For comparison, that’s almost a pound lighter than some of our favorite alloy fat bike wheels and exactly the same claimed weight as the new Reynolds Dean carbon fat bike wheels.

The new I9 wheelset is available with 170mm or 190mm rear hub spacing, six different end caps options for the front wheel, and either a Shimano HG or SRAM X1 freehub. You can also choose from 11 hub and spoke color options, including pink, purple, turquoise (pictured), and lime.
