Hot News: Santa Cruz unveils 27.5-inch V-10 downhill bike
The all-new Santa Cruz V-10 650b will see action at the Mont Sainte Anne World Cup this weekend.
Santa Cruz Bicycles has revealed a new, 27.5-inch wheeled version of their World Championship winning V-10 downhill bike. The Santa Cruz Syndicate team of Greg Minaar, Josh Bryceland and Steve Peat will be aboard the new mid-wheeler for the Mont Sainte Anne, Canada stop of the World Cup this coming weekend.
Although the company has not released specifics yet, Santa Cruz Marketing Director Will Ockelton told Mtbr that team riders have been testing “mule” versions of the bike for a several months and that Bryceland surreptitiously won the UK national DH crown aboard one a couple weekends ago, beating out Gee Atherton by a sizable 3.5 second gap.
Mtbr has exclusive photos of the bikes being built at the Santa Cruz factory that we’ll post tomorrow. For now check out the studio shots of the new 27.5 Santa Cruz V-10.
