ESI Launches Limited Edition Colorways

If you’re interested in seeing a specific color in the future, give them a follow on social media. They’ll regularly be polling riders to determine the next colors options. Pivot House Brand Components:
When you see OEM branded components on a mountain bike, it usually means the company is trying to hit a price point. By using catalog parts rather than name brands, they can deliver nearly the same ride experience at a lower cost. Pivot doesn’t play that game. Their new line of stems, bars, and grips were engineered from the ground up. For more info, check our coverage here.
Truvativ and TLD Bars
Truvativ has collaborated with Troy Lee Designs to produce a collection of brightly painted handlebars. There are three different bars being offered: The Descendent Aluminum DH, Descendent Carbon DH, and Descendent Carbon Enduro (pictured above). RockShox is also offering a matching TLD decal kit for your fork.
Race Face Next R
While Race Face has products that hit every price point, at the top level, they offered only the SixC and Next families. The SixC gear was DH rated, while the Next SL products were often the lightest in the industry. Their new group, the Next R (where R stands for Rally), slots somewhere in between.
SDG Duster P MTN
The Duster is one SDGs most popular saddles. It’s easily identifiable due to its flat profile and central channel. For this model year, SDG has added the new P MTN version. It uses a softer mid-density foam for improved suppleness and comfort.
The saddle will be available in three rail options: Ti, carbon, and chromoly. Both the Ti and cromo versions will ship in five colorways. If you’re interested in a custom colorway for your cycling team, SDG offers a custom program with low minimum quantities.
SDG I-Beam 2.0:
In addition to the new Duster, SDG was also showcasing a new 2.0 version of their I-beam system. The main difference is that the overall stack height of the beam has been reduced, which has brought the overall height of the saddle down.
Spank Shot Peens All
Spank is one of the few brands in the mountain bike industry that focuses solely on aluminum products. For this model year, they’ve gone all in with shot peening. This process produces a significantly stronger product that is also UV and scratch resistant. For more info, check our coverage here.
