FOX learned many lessons from their first dropper post effort, the FOX DOSS, which missed in a few areas including ergonomics, position, and price. However, it was incredibly reliable and won the hearts of many, especially those who frequently ride in inclement weather.

Now comes the new FOX Transfer, which as you can see in the video below, has infinite adjustment and occupies very little stack height.

Indeed, FOX seems to have covered all the bases with the Transfer. Infinite, damped travel are at the post’s core. That’s coupled by light action from an under-bar or over-bar lever. Kashima or black stanchions allow for bike matching, and it comes in various lengths up to 150mm internal or external cable routing. But the kicker is the $264 price for the standard, non-Kashima coated model. (The remote adds $65 to the bottom line for a complete price of $329.)

If the Transfer exhibits the same reliability as the outgoing DOSS post, we may have an unequivocal winner here.

The FOX Transfer two bolt system is reliable but bolts are not angled for easy tilt adjustment.
