The key ingredient inside though, is the new R2C2 damper which has adjustments for high and low speed compression as well as high and low speed rebound. The new RC2C damper has what Suntour calls the PCS system, Piston Compensator System that has a floating piston that avoids some of the previous issues they encountered with oil cavitation. Now the air portion and the oil portion are separate but move in concert.

The most visible feature is the built-in (but removable) fender. There are ports in the rear to help ease lubrication and maintenance. This fork features 160, 170, 180mm of travel and it is targeted towards the freeride/enduro crowd so it is still available in 26″ version. The main spring is air and the lowers are made of magnesium. The crown his hollow for weight savings and it uses a 20mm QR axle for stiffness. The QR2 system is also newly upgraded with a an easier and quicker system for installing or removing the axle.

The fender is easily removable with 4 small bolts. The two lube ports are also visible here.

The all new Durolux has a claimed weight of 2250 grams including axle. MSRP is $800 for the after market and is available from your local Suntour dealer now.

Besides the Durolux, SR Suntour also had some of their other products on display like their Raidon and Duair rear shocks, their NCX suspension seatpost and their XCR cranks.

The Suntour XCR crankset is available in 170 or 175mm crank lengths and is designed to work with 10 speed drivetrains. It comes with 36/22 teeth or 38/24 teeth rings and it has an external (24mm) bottom bracket.
