First Look: Sidi’s new Dragon 4 and SD15 mountain biking shoes
Sidi is one of the most well known brands in cycling shoes and they continue to innovate and bring hot looking shoes to the category, despite an influx of new players to the market. Highlighted here are two all new models for 2016, the Dragon 4 and the SD 15 mountain bike shoes. Also read about how Sidi is supporting Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Sidi Dragon 4
New for 2016 is the Dragon 4 mountain bike shoe with their SRS carbon composite sole. It has two Sidi Tecno 3 precision ratchet closures so you can independently micro-adjust the fit across the forefoot and toe area. The carbon sole is efficient and since the Sidi durability is legendary, the sole is replaceable when you final do wear it out. There are holes for two toe spikes which are sold separately. The Dragon 4 also has an adjustable heel retention device to help eliminate heel lift for optimized pedaling efficiency. The Dragon 4 is available in yellow/black (shown) or all black and comes in full sizes from 39 to 48 and half sizes from 39.5 to 46.5. Retail price is $399.99 and it is available from your local Sidi dealer now.
Sidi SD 15
Also brand new for 2016 is the Sidi SD 15 shoe with an “outdoor” oriented sole. What that means is that the sole is made of high performance rubber and has a good balance of density for variable trail conditions. It has been designed to provide excellent grip, even for those times when you have to hike-a-bike. The tread is also made to expel mud and debris. The SD 15 also features Sidi’s Tecno 3 precision ratchet closures for dialing in a secure fit. There is a reinforced heel cup that stabilizes and reinforces the heel. The heel cup also provides additional protection in case you crash. The SD 15 is available in black (shown) and comes in full sizes from 38 to 48. Retail price is $199.99 and it is available now.
Sidi supports Breast Cancer Awareness month
