While it may not be an e-bike in the traditional sense, SCOTT’S feathery new Spark 700 Ultimate Di2 comes with a remarkable amount of high-tech electronics. Equipped with both Shimano’s XTR Di2 electronic shifting system and FOX’s iCTD electronic suspension control, the new SCOTT may be a peek into the techy future of race bikes.

The Spark’s FOX-built iCTD Nude rear shock can be adjusted electronically on-the-fly (top left), using wither the FOX handlebar remote or the Shimano XTR remote, which can be programmed to control the unit as well. The XTR Di2 rear derailleur (bottom left) moves the chain across Shimano’s new 11-speed, 12-40 rear cluster. The FOX 32 Float iCTD fork (bottom right) is controlled by the three-mode remote as well.

To get to its fighting weight of 22.27-pounds, SCOTT spares no expense, opting for a pair of their on Syncros carbon wheels, a full compliment of Syncros carbon cockpit parts, a full Shimano XTR electronic grouppo and a Schwalbe Rocket Ron EVO Kevlar tires.
