New mounting options for Q-Rings
You’re not forced to change your cranks if you would like to convert to the oval Rotor Q-Rings. Now you can find more possibilities for QX1 (that’s how Rotor calls one-by) in combination with BCD 104 (34T or 36T) and BCD 96 (32T, 34T or 36T) spider diameters. These Q-Rings offer – as usual for the MTB version – three OCP (Optimum Chainring Position) positions, so you can still fine tune the angle of the oval chainring. New spiders for QX1: Cannondale Si AI and Specialized cranks and even a QX2 (two-by) BCD 96 x 64 for Shimano XTR cranks – even with a nice 22T granny gear option.
