Enduro World Series: Aspen extreme mega-gallery
The world’s best have descended on Aspen-Snowmass, Colorado, for the 5th stop of the Enduro World Series this weekend. After two days of hot and dusty practice, racing rolls Saturday morning with the first of six stages over two days. Trails are a mix of fast and loose, with some chunder and a little lippy bike park action mixed in.
The big story during practice was the crash of Richie Rude on Thursday. That forced the dominant series leader to sit out practice Friday, meaning the Yeti Factory Team rider will be racing some of the stages blind. Press play to see the carnage.

On the women’s side, series leader Cecile Ravanel is here and looking fast. You can see complete series standings for the men and women here.
Mtbr is on the ground in Aspen and will provide coverage all weekend. Here’s the start list. For up to the minute live details, follow the EWS live feed.
