When DVO was founded, their first project was an inverted downhill fork. In just a few short years, their product line has expanded to encompass forks and shocks for everything from trail to DH.

Their newest project is a dropper post. Rather than try and reinvent the wheel, they actually paired up with a company who manufacturers dropper components for a number of competitors. Their solution was a cable actuated post with infinite adjust that relies upon a hydraulic cartridge. An internal air spring helps bring the seat back up, but in case you experience air loss, they added a secondary coil spring.

DVO claims the new post is roughly 40g heavier than the comparable Reverb.

Retail is TBD, but they’re hoping to launch this June around or just below the $500 mark. The posts will initially be available with either 125mm or 150mm drop for 30.9 or 31.6 posts. They’ll also have shims available for larger sizes.
