Commencal Meta 29er teased at Sea Otter
The Commencal Meta 29, an enduro racing monster.
Commencal teased their Meta 29 at Sea Otter, displaying it next to their trail taming Supreme DH 29.
The Meta 29 is a 170/160mm front/rear travel 29er enduro monster that will be available around September. It has 65.5-degree headtube angle, 75-degree seat tube angle, and 432mm chainstays. Pricing has yet to be released, but figure under $6000 for the Signature Edition that’s pictured here. Total bike weight is approximately 32 pounds.

The Supreme DH 29 was also on display. It is a 205mm travel 29er downhill bike, with 63.5-degree headtube angle and 439mm chain stays. The frame uses a forward axle path to help smooth out square edges and runs the chain over the upper link to remove brake jack and keep the rear end active.
