2017 Vallnord World Cup DH highlights

Vallnord World Cup DH

Troy Bronson and Myriam Nicole came out on top in Vallnord.

This past weekend’s World Cup race in Vallnord, Andorra, was arguably the most entertaining of the season. The women’s race saw the return of Rachel Atherton and a fourth winner in four races. On the men’s side, the top riders put on a show. Racers like Connor Fearon and Jack Moir were up at several splits, until brutal crashes took them off the podium quest. With just six men left at the top, Danny Hart laid down an absolutely incredible run. Riding on the very edge, he slid into the hot seat.

Loic Bruni followed and his run could not have been more different. Where Hart was absolutely wild, Bruni managed to make it down the track in effortless fashion. The way his Ohlins equipped Specialized tracked the ground was downright magical. From there, Aaron Gwin, Greg Minnaar, and Troy Brosnan made there way down. Each run faster than the next, with Brosnan taking the win.

To experience some of the magic, catch the highlights above. And if you have more time, watch the full race replay here.
