2017 Specialized Enduro spotted

This is a very loud yelllow and red color combination on Hannah Barnes’ carbon race bike. We’re confident there will be other colors available.
Rumors about the long-awaited sequel to the Specialized Enduro have gone rampant in the last couple of weeks. The outgoing model was a revolutionary 29er with 155mm of travel with a 165mm travel 27.5 sibling.
This new bike has been spotted all over Whistler in the last couple of days in 29er and 27.5 form. This particular model photographed in the pit area is Hannah Barnes’ 27.5 steed with 170mm of front travel. Very interesting is that tires are 2.6 in size with the Butcher tread. Tire is quite big leaving only a couple mm of clearance with the fork crown. Reportedly, Jared Graves is using the same front tire for these very rough and long Whistler stages.

The 2.3 butcher tire has massive clearance on the rear seatstays now without a bridge. It looks like this rear can accommodate 3.0 tires.

Some racers are using 2.6 sized Butcher tires with Grid casing and Gripton rubber. This sits on a 30mm internal rim.
