Sea Otter Classic: Norco Enduro Prototype 2014
On the Sea Otter festival we discovered a prototype of a new carbon trail bike from Norco. Based on the Norco Side, the developers designed a very light trail- and enduro-racebike with 140mm of travel and 650B wheels. Except the chainstays, the frame is made entirely of carbon fibre.

Cycling is full of iconic trophies, and the new Enduro World Series aims to offer nothing less with today’s announcement of the designers, artists and riders who have accepted the invitation to design and manufacture the series’ first prize for the World Champion.

Long Term Test: POC VPD 2.0 Knee Pad
If you are looking for some knee pads it is normally a case of comfortable, cheap or protective, pick two! Now a mandatory requirement at a lot of enduro races it is important to get a pad that fits well and offers sufficient protection while still being able to sprint. We have been testing the POC VPD 2.0 for the last 12 months to see how they shape up to a season of abuse and racing.
Commencal Insiders #6: Quéré and Absalon in New Caledonia
The winter time is ideal for our riders to go down under and train with a nice South Pacific sun. Thanks to our distributor in New Caledonia, IMPACT, Nico QUERE and Remy ABSALON had a chance to discover this island. Between coaching, giving advices on Enduro trail building and training, our two buddies show us their complicity and brilliantly illustrate that one rider is already good but two or more make it definitively better. A hymn to friendship axed around biking.
