Bell has announced the 12 finalists in their Bell Built Grants program. $100,000 in technical assistance money put up by Bell for three bike projects to be built in 2014 by IMBA Trail Solutions. Public voting to choose the winners begins April 7 and ends May 18, with winners announced May 19.

Specialized is the last of the big bike companies without a 27.5″ (650B) bike in its lineup – well, it was until now! Spy shots of Curtis Keenes Prototype 27.5 Stumpjumper Evo indicated their interest in the popular middle sized format, and we can now confirm that the Stumpjumper FSR Expert Carbon Evo 27.5″ and the Stumpjumper FSR Comp Evo 27.5″ are going into production! Even though Specialized have now specified two of its well-proven trail bikes with 27.5″ wheels, the main focus of the US-giant still remains on 29er bikes!

This championship has become the best spots enduro in Spain, and it illustrates the diversity of the Spanish landscape from a cycling perspective: From the beautiful golden Mediterranean region of Ojén in the South, to Tui on the Northern border with Portugal a Celtic land of green mountains on the wild Atlantic Coast. And to add to the diversity this year there will be a challenging new venue – Castejón de Sos, in the Aragonese Pyrenees, which will test the riders technical capabilities on some exciting mountain tracks.
