Video: Moments of contrast Ep. 2 – Down to Earth
We a proud to present our second episode. This time two of the Lahnvalley Crew members are going for a little enduro ride. Hermann and Anton took their Scott Geniuses to show you one of those super nice enduro trails in the Bikepark Leogang/ Saalfelden area. This is something you really need to do when you are arround this area. If you want you can stop at an alp to eat and drink something before you go on with your ride! You can enjoy some cold cuts and a mixed beer and you will have some fresh power.
How to reduce the Air-Volume of the RockShox Pike
The RockShox Pike is currently indisputably one of the best, if not THE best enduro fork on the market! This was also our findings in our fork group test from Issue # 009 of Enduro magazine. More and more bikes are now being sold with the fork fitted as standard, and many more riders are adding the Pike to their own bikes. However, to get the best out of the fork it needs to be set up to work in harmony with the rear end. The Pike comes with an adjustable air chamber, allowing the volume to be changed making the fork either more linear (increased volume) or more progressive (reduced volume). We will now explain how to adjust your fork to find the best setup for your bike!
Race Report: POC Scottish Enduro Series Round 2: Innerleithen
As I happily ‘fell’ into the comically steep, larch lined chute of stage 4, a real white knuckler, my mind was full of questions! Should my brakes be working right now, when was the last time I took a breath and what would a tree look like as a hat? In a losing battle against gravity, mud and slippery roots, corner after corner squeaked by in a ‘narrow escape’ fashion, 780mm bars missing trees by a midges whisker! Then it was over, I was literary spat out of the bottom of the chute before pedaling my legs off to the finish! It takes nerve for organisers to include stages like this, but thank the gods of enduro that they do! Welcome to Round 2 of the Scottish Enduro Series!
Spyshot: New Specialized All-Mountain Shoes 2015
During a Specialized product launch in Santa Cruz, CA where we got the chance to test and ride new apparel and the Specialized Stumpjumper Evo 650B, we spotted a prototype of new Specialized all-mountain clipless shoes. The shoes were ridden by various Specialized employees and pro riders, obviously still in a prototype phase.
