If you’ve ridden mountain bikes for a few years, you’ve probably noticed something about helmets. Not all of them fit all heads. So it’s never a bad thing when another high quality helmet is brought into the mix of safety gear for our most important body part. Six Six One has been making helmets for over 10 years, and they understand that today’s riders are pushing the limits with regards to their personal safety. Driven on by technological advancements in suspension, controls, drive-train, materials and components, riders are riding more technical trails at faster speeds than ever before. The risks are great, to say the least.

Nowadays lots of people talk about innovation, game changing designs and other magical products, terms like these become almost throwaway, as to be honest, there are not many really innovative products out there anymore.

Lovely lush green, rugged rocks, impressive glaciers, mighty four-thousand metre mountains, the Matterhorn and traditional mountain villages and vineyards. Add to these a challenging but flowing racecourse on diverse and demanding single trails. That’s what awaits when taking part in the new 6 day multi stage mountain bike race in the Swiss Alps, the Perskindol Swiss Epic. During five days professional, as well as ambitious amateurs, will ride from Verbier via Leukerbad and Grächen to Zermatt.
