We spoke with Mark Cleveland, who is the CEO and part owner of Swiftwick sock company, which got their start through some twists of fate, at a mountain bike race. Speaking with Cleveland, you get the impression very quickly, that he’s VERY passionate about what he does. But even more than that, he’s quick to point out all the awesome things his “team” (of employees), and athletes wearing his product, are doing. Almost like a proud beaming father talking about his athletic son.

Last weekend the 2014 Kamikaze Bike Games took over Mammoth Mountain. The Games featured all disciplines of mountain bike racing, with the Shimano Enduro held on Sunday. The Enduro was the fourth stop of the California Enduro Series and was a sold-out event with 300 racers in attendance.

The location which has written the history of mountain-biking in Italy is getting ready to be at the centre of the enduro world during the three days of the last round of the Enduro World Series 2014.
