Quadra Island’s website states that the island residents are an extremely diverse and unique community of individuals, who share the passion of the island existence, but enjoy a variety of different professions. When we talk about individuality, a picture is painted of forging your own path and creating one’s own free existence. Sam Whittingham is very much so at the core of individuality. Sam created Naked Bicycles, a handmade bicycle manufacturer situated on Quadra Island, a cornerstone in the discovery islands.

Like a French “Enduro World Series” – The 2nd round of the Cannondale Enduro Tour was a must do: 330 pilots ready to shred the trails with the best french enduro racers who came to the event: Damien OTON, Rémy ABSALON, Rémi THIRION, François BAILLY MAITRE, Nicolas LAU, Pierre-Chales GEORGES, Thomas LAPEYRIE, Jérémie ARNOULD, Florian GOLAY and also Ludovic OGET were in the starting list! The town has welcomed us as the “Tour de France” and offered a great show with 5 stages, 4 in the forest and 1 in the “Citadelle du Lion”the castle of the city.

Mountain Bikers of Santa Cruz (MBoSC) is happy to announce yet another successful Santa Cruz Mountain Bike Festival (SCMBF) presented by MBoSC and FOX. Running at an all-new venue — San Lorenzo Park in downtown Santa Cruz — on April 11-12, 2015, the popular community-minded festival drew an estimated 6,000 attendees.
