Brian Head Resort in Brian Head, UT, is regaining it’s once mountain bike mecca status by creating a multi-year mountain bike expansion plan. Report: THE BLAST #2 2013
It’s Saturday, one week before The Blast #2. Fabrizio and Jarno meet up to do a last inspection of the trails to make sure there are no big surprises. Fast forward to Thursday, and the snow has disappeared from the trails, and the sun is out! Riders are finding their way to Hotel La Chance, a luxurious biker friendly hotel situated at 1800m right next to the famous Pila Bikepark.
Everyone dumps their luggage in their room, and meets up at the bar for a well deserved drink.

With tough technical descents needing to be earned through long climbs, it is the perfect playground for the latest breed of 160mm enduro bikes. Even though I have been lucky enough to ride all over the world, Scotland still occupies a unique place in my heart, and for those with an adventurous spirit Scotland offers truly world class riding!
