Nico Lau (FRA) and Ines Thoma (GER) satisfied their role as favorites at stop #2 of the European Enduro Series 2015 in Sölden. The shimmering heat and the dusty trails challenged the riders to their limits in the Bike Republic Sölden on July 5, 2015.

This weekend, on the 4th and 5th of July, the European Enduro Series continues in the heart of Sölden, Austria. Today was the first mandatory practice day, culminating with an exciting prologue. The mountain weather was perfect and racers were excited to get started.

The third race of the SloEnduro series took place last weekend in Bovec as part of Soča Outdoor Festival. After skipping the Saturday’s prologue in center of Bovec due to unstable weather, on Sunday the race showed everything the region has. Perfect weather, some splendid locations around Bovec and happy riders made fantastic atmosphere and unforgettable adventure on the bike.

Last weekend in Sölden the 8th annual Schnitzeljagd (literally ‘Schnitzel hunt’ or treasure hunt, paperchase) took place in Sölden/Ötztal. In perfect conditions 300 participants set off to hunt for the elusive golden Schnitzel.

Canada Day – More sun and a couple major climbs followed by the longest descents of the race so far, made today’s stage from Sechelt to Langdale a fitting Day Four. This is hump day and the Queen stage of the BC Bike Race 2015, so from here it’s homeward bound. This day brought riders over the the cusp, 4 days down and three to go while rewarding every effort they had to make on the bike with some trails full of berms, natural features and man-made adventures.
