EWS Round 6 Val d’Isere: Latest news from day 1

After an amazing day of racing in Val d’Isere, it really has been a day of two halves.  With storms threatening the forecasts many riders were surprised to wake to clear blue skies, but as predicted, just after the first stage was complete the skies darkened and the rain came.   This did not stop the racing action, for long anyway, and once again the EWS has put on an amazing show.  Here are some photos and results from the first days racing.

Val d’Isere Enduro World Series Round 6: Stage Walks

With the world’s best now arriving in Val D’Isere, many shaking off jet lag and airline induced stupor after the last two weeks hectic race schedule. All eyes are looking towards the weekend. From 6:00AM this morning the stages were opened for a WALKING inspection, still no riding allowed, so riders headed on mass up the hill to check out what was in store.

Race report: Superenduro Series in Sauze d’Oulx

One year ago, Enduro Mountain Magazine crew went to Sauze d’Oulx for Superenduro, Enduro des Nations. Sublimated by the awesome trails, landscape and friendly people, Aurelien Knecht (photographer and filmmaker) and Jordan Baumann decided to go back to this area. During one week, they enjoyed the trails, took photos and Jordan participated in the mythical race.
