Queensland Gravity Enduro State Championships 2013

2013 has been a huge year for Gravity Enduro in Queensland with the format really taking off, and riders supporting the races with great numbers in the first year. After 3 races earlier in the year at Mt Joyce and Garapine trail centres, Race Director Ian Harwood of Event Management Solutions Australia was looking for a bit more diversity in trails to round out the year. “Head West” they said (well one guy did).

Montenbaik Enduro powered by Sram – Round 4th Valdivia

The fourth stage of the Montenbaik Enduro Championship powered by Sram 2013 took place last Friday and saturday with 300 enthusiastic riders. This was the events second time in Valdivia but the big difference this year was that the race was over two days.

1st Enduro Race – Pineda Rocs, Barcelona

Last October 26th -27th in the coastal town of Pineda de Mar (Barcelona) the 1st Enduro Pineda Rocs celebration took place. It was an event that consisted of an Enduro race BTT and an exhibition of products related to the discipline.

Chris Ball: The new UCI Enduro Event Regulations and the EMBA

Just one week ago an inconspicuous press release from the UCI was made public to the world! The ‘2014 UCI Cycling Regulations’ outlined the UCI’s rules and regulations for the many different genres of biking that are UCI sanctioned. In a somewhat ominous but expected development, there is now a whole new chapter in the rule book laid out clearly in red print, UCI Cycling Regulations: Enduro Events. Enduro has exploded on a global scale and it now seems that the UCI has had enough of watching and wants a piece of the pie!
