The bikes that unite us – Part 2: Katy Winton
The Enduro World Series has begun, after a hugely successful launch in Punta Ala the stage has been set, performance benchmarks have been laid and everyone knows the score! Scrolling through the list of EWS protected riders is like a who’s who of mountain biking. Legends of the sport stand foremost, but there is also fresh young blood in the mix, the next generation of riders who have shown not only the commitment and determination to succeed but backed it up with notable national enduro victories. Scanning through the elite women’s list, among celebrities of the sport like Tracy Moseley and Anne Caro you will find the unfamiliar name ‘Katy Winton’. At only 19, Katy is the new kid on the international enduro circuit, but pushing her along is a highly distinguished and diverse riding career.

Enduro Meeting Race – Unquillo Cordoba Argentina
The Enduro Meeting has moved the mountain trails from Cordoba in Argentina last weekend. Bikers from all Argentina, Chile and Panama arrived to the Cabana Bikepark to enjoy this first Enduro party.
The trails were specially developed for this competition with a lot technical sections, with some drops and rockgardens that made the trails super fun, complicated and technical.
The Enduro Meeting...
Scotland – a back country enduro playground!
“Aye, there is some great mountain biking in Scotland”, little did I know that this simple statement from a good friend of mine 6 years ago would result in our relocation from the sunny surf battered beaches of Devon, up to the wild and vast highlands of Scotland! After a number of epic ‘no frills’ camping trips, staying in the luxurious confines of the back of a VW T4, Scotland was well and truly on our radar as one of the best enduro locations in the world! With tough technical descents needing to be earned through long climbs, it is the perfect playground for the latest breed of 160mm enduro bikes. Even though I have been lucky enough to ride all over the world, Scotland still occupies a unique place in my heart, and for those with an adventurous spirit Scotland offers truly world class riding!
