SummitDown, Enduro Racing Holidays
With Enduro now reaching critical mass, the format is set to explode over the next few years. Not only are there a huge variety of racing events held all over Europe but you can now take your bike on Enduro riding holidays!
We talk to Trev Worsey, owner of the Enduro holiday company Summitdown, offering Enduro style holidays in Lake Garda and Finale Ligure, and for the more competitive, fully supported racing itineraries to many events from the Italian SuperEnduro and new Enduro World Series circuit.

We are a small UK company, owned and run by passionate bikers and racers, and love all things Enduro. We have been lucky enough to guide in some amazing locations over the last 6 years, and now run Enduro focussed holidays to our two favourite Italian destinations, Lake Garda and Finale Ligure. The Alto Garda on the north shore of Lake Garda is one of the most spectacular areas to ride, stunning big mountain descents over natural, rocky, highly technical trails with big views and great atmosphere. Finale Ligure is not far away but has a totally different vibe, being all about sublime flowing natural trails, flat out speed and good fun. We also arrange racing packages for riders who want to compete in the increasingly popular Enduro circuits, like the SuperEnduro and new Enduro World Series.
We love the spirit and ethos of Enduro and really want to see the format progress, it has finally given a strong identity to the form of riding we all love and perfectly describes the terrain we guide on, long exciting descents with the bulk of the climbing done in the uplift van.

We have seen that a lot of riders now want more from their holidays, and the chance of racing in an international event really appeals to the competitive side in all of us! However it can be quite daunting logistically to race overseas, especially if you are heading out solo! We make it easy by providing an all inclusive racing holiday, sorting out all the logistics and entry to the events in one affordable package. We look after all travel arrangements, accommodation and our guides are on hand throughout the week to help get your lines dialled and make sure you have awesome fun with the team. We offer holidays to the main events like the Megavalanche in Alpe D’Huez and most stages of the Italian SuperEnduro Series, and in 2013 we are expanding our itineraries to cover some of the new Enduro World Series and BlueGrass events, it is going to be a very exciting year!
