We Make Enduro – Conway has taken up the cause. The abbreviation WME also formed the name for the bike for this category which was until now was only available with 27.5” wheels. At the Riva Bike-Festival however an inconspicuous raw-finished bike with 29” wheels and a different seat tube/bottom bracket area hung next to the demo bikes. We took a closer look.
In contrast to the current WME the shock doesn’t run through the seat tube and the ‘floating’ lower shock mount is no longer present. We were told however that the bike is an early geometry sample – so by the time the bike reaches production in 2017 there will be some changes.
Viewed from the rear the indentation is clearly visible, which we suspect makes room for a front derailleur. This could mean the bb area will remain unchanged…..expectations are high!
