Race Report | Dante Torres Enduro 2015

The recently concluded Dante Torres Enduro 2015 on its second year, held in the mountains of Showka, Ras Al Khaimah UAE (United Arab Emirates). With the growing popularity of Enduro racers in the region, around 80 plus participants from the UAE and around the world as far as Canada battled it out in this annual event.

This years course was longer and more challenging.

For this year participants had to go thru a much tougher, longer and more technical course compared from last year’s inaugural race, with three (ss) special stages and three liaisons stages around the mountain borders of Oman and the UAE.

After a grueling day of racing, the results were up and it was Franck Jaussaud who took the number one spot for the Men’s Masters,
while in the Women’s Open category Michelle Guerin held her position for the 2nd year as top female enduro racer in the region to beat.

Hosted by UAE MTB with the support from various mtb clubs, sponsored by RIDE Bike shop/Giant, Gym care/Trek Bicycles, Mavic, Red bull, Enduro Pilipinas, Nexus Insurance and the UAE Cycling Federation this race is dedicated in memory of fellow rider Dante Torres.
