Last year with SRAM XX1, the world’s first dedicated 1X MTB drivetrain, SRAM introduced the XD driver body, a new and improved interface for cassettes, capable of running a 10-tooth cog. There is an ever-growing list of hub manufacturers who are producing XD compatible driver bodies for their hubs and wheel sets, and all the advantages of the XD driver body as an open standard available to any manufacturer.
