Polygon Siskiu N – A new enduro bike at a fair price
The new Polygon Siskiu N is an exciting and affordable new enduro bike. With 160 mm of travel, wheel size adapted to the respective rider size and a balanced geometry, it promises to be composed enough for the roughest tracks and still be agile and fun on less demanding trails.
The Polygon Siskiu N in detail
The new Polygon Siskiu N looks very similar to the Siskiu N presented a few months ago, expanding the Indonesian brand’s portfolio of attractively priced long-travel bikes. It will be available in four frame sizes with the S only available with 27.5″ wheels. The size M will be available with either 27.5″ or 29″ wheels. The sizes L and XL, on the other hand, will be offered exclusively with 29″ wheels. All models feature the faux-bar rear suspension linkage – a linkage driven single pivot – with the brake calliper mounted on the chainstay.
The componentry of Polygon Siskiu
Polygon will be offering two build options. The most affordable € 2,699 € Siskiu N8 is available with a RockShox Yari RC fork, SRAM NX-Eagle drivetrain, Tektro Orion brakes and a 125 (S-M) or 150 mm (L-XL) dropper seat post. The Polygon Siskiu N9 comes equipped with a FOX 36 Rhythm fork, SRAM GX-Eagle drivetrain, and TRP SLATE brakes; available for € 2,999.

Polygon Siskiu geometry
The geometry of the Polygon Siskiu is in no way extreme. However, there are some peculiarities. The head tube length of all bikes is quite short, which results in a short stack height despite the low BB height (33 mm drop on the 29″). Polygon has adapted the geometry to the wheel size. The BB drop varies between 5 (27.5″) and 33 mm (29″). The chainstays grow from 435 to 439.4 mm for 29″ wheels. The 456 mm reach (size L) is on the shorter side of the spectrum and, unfortunately, the 470 mm seat tube is a little too long for our liking.

Our first impression of the new Polygon Siskiu N
The Polygon Siskiu made a good first impression. The componentry is well thought-out, and the price is fair. Polygon has clearly chosen not to experiment, relying instead on conventional geometry. If the rear linkage works well, the result could be a good all-round package. We’re looking forward to taking one out on the trails to see.
