Hope Carbon Handlebar

There are carbon handlebars, and then there are these beauties. Handmade in-house at their Barnoldswick factory, Hope have really raised the bar with these! Everything from the subtle, matte logos to the intricate carbon weave puts them in a league of their own when it comes to looks. However, their technical specs are promising too, with a 780 mm width, a 20 mm rise and a claimed weight of 225 g. The handlebars are only available in the narrower 31.8 mm diameter, but fear not, Hope make a nice matching stem to pair them with.

Cane Creek eeWings

€ 999 for a pair of cranks?!? Yep, these Ti masterpieces from Cane Creek certainly aren’t cheap. However, if you’re on the lookout for that last piece of bling to fully pimp your steed these are a good bet and come with some performance benefits to justify (well, maybe not “justify” but you know what we mean) their gargantuan cost. Cane Creek claim a weight of 400 g (our set weighs in at 394 g) and a 20–30% increase in stiffness over premium carbon cranks. They are also so confident you’ll love the eeWings, that a 30-day satisfaction guarantee and 10-year limited warranty are included.

Leatherman Wingman multi-tool

Everyone needs a wingman. This Leatherman multi-tool is designed to be just that. While none of its 14 stainless-steel tools are MTB-specific, the spring-action wire cutters are sure to come in useful at the local trail center, as are the scissors and screwdrivers. However, this tool is aimed at the more adventurous souls. Those seeking big-mountain thrills and backcountry experiences. It is here where the Wingman’s high-carbon 420HC blade, pliers and wood & metal file come into their own.

Forbidden Bikes Druid Frameset

A high pivot, idler, rearward axle path and size-specific geometry – everything about the Forbidden Druid screams speed! Its 130 mm rear travel dishes out bucketloads of traction and the Trifecta suspension design seemingly gives you more forward momentum the more square-edged hits you plow into. While the look of the idler and pivot may polarise some, we are big fans of the Druid’s futuristic aesthetics. It just looks f#cking fast!
