FOX Live Valve – the suspension revolution is coming
The first signs of the FOX Live Valve system have been spotted at various bike presentations over the past years. An increasing number of frames are currently being prepared for it but there’s a good chance you haven’t seen it yet. Here at Eurobike the SCOTT and FOX exhibition stands are showing us (a few) more details.
Supposedly this is the first definitive version of the FOX Live Valve System — we saw it at the SCOTT booth where it was installed on a gorgeous SCOTT Genius. Both the components and the posters exposed at the FOX stand helped us draw some initial conclusions about the Live Valve System. It looks like the system is powered by a battery that hides in the down tube. The rear shock and fork feature cutting-edge control systems which are activated by an electric impulse. Additional sensors in the fork and rear-end collect the information from the trail.
No one at either the SCOTT or the FOX booth were prepared to give us more details about the FOX Live Valve system. That’s why we can’t tell you when the system will be officially presented or when it will hit the stores. One thing is for sure: it won’t be long!
