Enduro World Series Crankworx Les 2 Alpes Day TWO: The Race

Enduro World Series Race Day Crankworx les 2 Alpes-20

The third round of the Enduro World Series has gone into the history books. Today’s race in Les 2 Alpes demanded everything from the riders and their bikes. We saw very exciting racing with amazing line choices, technical issues, different tactics and riders doing well in some stages and not so good in others due to the different types of courses. Les 2 Alpes was the steepest and most technically demanding course of the Series yet, with four stages, all chairlift accessed, packed into a single grueling day of racing.

Today’s winner in men class: Jerome Clementz! After a puncture in Val d’Allos left him off the podium, Enduro World Series’ favourite Jerome Clementz (Cannondale Overmountain) took a commanding 25 second lead in the early part of today’s Cannondale Enduro Les 2 Alpes race and held the advantage to finish in number one spot. It was the decorated enduro athlete’s first win of the Series.
