Enduro below the ground with Erlebnisradtouren – Saaleland

Days are getting cooler and shorter, it is raining more and the first snow has already fallen in the Alps. Even if bikers like you and I refuse to believe it, summer is slowly coming to an end. But the following video from the guys at Erlebnisradtouren-Saaleland shows some good reasons, why your enduro bike should better not hibernate in the garage. Enduro in an abandoned iron ore mine is the new answer for your vapid winter day.

Underneath the small village of Kamsdorf in Germany, bikers find a small but fine trailparadise. Without the influence of weather it is possible to do guided tours through this very special labyrinth of tunnels all year long. Technical and sometimes narrow trails only built for Mountainbikers add a good portion of adrenalin into your veins. This kind of riding is globally unique.

A tour through the mystical system of gangways takes you about two and a half hours and stretches over 15 km as well as 250 m in altitude. Before the journey begins, you will be equipped with LED-lights from Lupine. Afterwards you are ready for the expedition through the pitch-dark tunnels. Behind every corner a new challenge is waiting – this is real Enduro cycling.
When mining began 300 years ago, surely none of the miners would have ever thought of riding a bicycle in their mountain. Today you can have a really good time, whilst riding a good mix of small gangways and big halls spread through three floors into the depth. This will be a bike trip you will never forget. Tours are available in english for 39 EUR incl. a Lupine LED headlight.
