Champions are Made in Winter: Part #01 the Alsace / Lorraine Crew
It’s winter. Staying at home during the cold days is what most of us prefer. But: Champions are made in the off-season! This is why lots of riders try to escape winter flying southwards or do alternative sports to keep their fitness and prepare for the upcoming season. In a series of articles we will give you some impressions of what some of the world’s best enduro riders do at the moment:
Remy Absalon (Commencal) swapped his bike in exchange for skis to go touring with best company. Sometimes (or always) the activity becomes a freeride session in the powpow…
If possible Remy goes out for a ride in the snow too, of course.

Back in Alsace: Out for a ride in the snow. La vie c’est belle.

Cube Action Team rider Nico Lau finds it really difficult to train at home in Alsace due to the bad weather. With not enough snow for powder skiing, but enough for cross country skiing, this is the way he trains for a big 76Kms cross country ski in FRANCE.
To prepare for the season and collect some kilometers on his Stereo 650B race bike he went to Finale Ligure with his team mates Valerie and Gusti.
In mid-March the Cube Action Team has a training and setup camp to prepare the material for the season.
