Andalucia Bike Race Day One

Day one of the Andalucia Bike Race kicked off in hazy conditions with a 50km time-trial around the town of Martos. The stage consisted largely of roads and gravel tracks with fast top speeds but there was also several km of technical descents for participants to navigate. The Topeak-Ergon team dominated the opening day with Kristian Hynek and Alban Lakata (1:51:33) taking the win in elite men, and the pairing of Sally Bigham and Katrin Leumann (2:17:55) in the women’s field.
