2013 Big Mountain Enduro Series – Get Ready!
Get ready for Big Mountain Enduro Action! The registration of the Big Mountain Enduro Series 2013 has opened January 28, 2013.
Update from the organizer:
Season Pass Registration has closed already. The Series is not sold out, just the limited number of season passes.
BME #5, Moab registration has closed. The best way to enter is to put yourself on the wait list (instructions below) and we will pull from it as soon as any spots become available. The first four events- Angel Fire/Taos, Crested Butte, Keystone and Durango and stay open until they are sold out. Lots of spots open! These events will be equally as epic, so sign up today before they fill up!
The Big Mountain Enduro Series is growing to five events for 2013 and will include stops in Angel Fire/Taos, Crested Butte, Keystone, Durango, and finish up in Moab. Two of the events- Keystone and Moab- are also part of the North American Enduro Tour (NAET), so get ready for big competition as regional and local talent go head-to-head with national (and international) enduro racers.
RACE RUN-DOWN
There will be two days and between four and seven stages of racing at each venue for all categories, amounting to over 45,000 vertical feet of descending world class singletrack throughout the entire series.
Accumulative time from all stages will determine final standings at each event. We will also award and recognize Series Overall at the finals in Moab based on a points system for the series.
Each venue has its own unique flavor including epic backcountry trails that the Rocky Mountain Region is infamous for, as well as lift-accessed stages in order to showcase the most challenging trails at each host location.
Practice days will be available on Thursday and Friday, with on-site packet pick-up on Fridays from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
