As recently as last week, many of us presumed 3D-printed UCI-approved bikes were still several years away, at least. Pinarello had other ideas, and its new Bolide F HR 3D track bike for Filippo Ganna and Dan Bigham’s Hour Records is 3D-printed in England by Metron Additive Engineering. CyclingTips visited Metron Additive Engineering to find out how and why they 3D-print an entire frame, fork, seat post, and handlebars.
