The Tour Daily Podcast: Tangents in Megève

Every July, the CyclingTips Podcast goes daily and comes straight to your ears from the ground in France (or Denmark, as it were.)

Welcome to your hub for the Tour Daily during the 2022 Tour de France. We’ll have a Tour Daily episode every stage through both the Tour de France and Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. You can play each episode from this page or subscribe on iTunesSpotify,  Google, or wherever you get your podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts.

Stage 10: Tangents in Megève

Magnus Cort shrugged off a week of breakaways, Caleb Ewan looked quite sad, and the men remain in glaz.

Rest day: Turf de France

Stage 9: Welcome to the Jungels

Stage 8: Wright Said Fred

Strage 7: The Super Planche

Stage 6: Your man at the Tou

It was a day where Wout van Aert and Tadej Pogacar took turns dominating the entire Tour de France field. Ronan, Jonny, and Caley talk though the stage, plus Alberto Bettiol, La Planche, and your man with the near miss.

Stage 5: Jumbo messed that one up

It was a wild day on the cobbles of northern France. Jonny, Ronan, and Caley break down Pogačar’s dominance, Jumbo-Visma’s strange response to a relatively normal issue, and delve into why Nairo Quintana is so good on cobblestones.

Stage 4: Will Wout Wait?

Wout van Aert decided the best way to end his run of second places was to sprint against himself on Tuesday. Jonny and Ronan are joined by Caley, fresh off the plane, to talk through a thrilling finale and look ahead to Wednesday’s cobble stage.

Stage 3: Onward to France

Another sprint, another winner. The crew sit down after the final Danish stage to talk through a fast but impressively safe opener to the Tour de France.

Stage 2: Two for two

Fabio Jakobsen made it two for two for Quick-Step, capping an emotional and incredible comeback from his horrific crash in Poland. Jonny, Ronan, Shoddy, and Pippa talk through the stage.

Stage 1: Just a farmer’s son in yellow

“Now I’ve beaten all the best riders in the world – I’m just a farmer’s son from Belgium, eh?”

Yves Lampaert stunned the heavy favorites to take the first yellow jersey of the 2022 Tour de France. Shoddy, Ronan, and Jonny sit down over a Danish pizza to talk through the stunning ride and what’s to come in the next few stages.

Tour de France eve

Shoddy, Jonny, and Ronan are joined by Philippa York on the eve of the first stage of the Tour de France to talk through overall contenders, Copenhagen atmosphere, the first time trial, and much more.
