Mathieu van der Poel will consider leaving Tour de France early
Mathieu van der Poel took home his fourth world title this weekend on the beaches of Oostend but the 26-year-old Dutchman is already looking ahead to what next season will bring. His team Alpecin-Fenix receives an invite to the Tour de France as best scoring ProTeam of 2020 but Van der Poel is unsure if he will ride all the way to the Champs Elysées, he tells Wielerflits. The Olympic mountain bike race is top of his mind this summer.
