Road to Cape Epic EP6: What gear had we been using?
At the time we made this video the 2020 ABSA Cape Epic was still going ahead and we had spent nearly 12 months training and testing the gear we were going to use. Many of you wanted to know what gear we chose; what gear we thought would stand up to the test. So here it is:
– Giant Anthem 29er XC mountain bikes, with Fox Live Valve suspension, outfitted with Shimano XTR groupsets and PRO Turnix off-road saddle
– Wahoo ELEMNT ROAM computers and TICKR HR monitors
– Silca Viaggio travel pump and multi-tool
– Dynaplug Racer tubeless tyre plugs
