Preview: What you need to know about stage 10 of the 2021 Tour de France
Date: Tuesday July 6
Start: Albertville
Finish: Valence
Distance: 191 km
In the first stage after the first rest day, the riders are still in the Alps but sticking to the valley roads. There’s an early fourth-category climb, but this is a day for the fastmen.

Who’s it for: Sprinters.

Nacer Bouhanni looks like his strongest rival at the moment, but Wout van Aert and Mads Pedersen could both get into the mix, and don’t rule out the likes of Peter Sagan and Michael Matthews in a tricky finish.
