Panaracer announces limited-edition pink and blue Gravel King tyres
Panaracer has announced “Pansy” blue and “Flamingo” pink limited edition colour options for its three thread patterns across the popular Gravel King tyre range: the SS, SK, and the Slicks.
These continue what has now become an annual tradition and utilise the same ZSG compound technology, anti-flat casing, and 120 TPI construction as the standard Gravel Kings. Like all Gravel Kings 32 mm and above, the pink and blue tyres are tubeless-compatible.
“These limited edition tires have garnered a bit of a cult following in the bike scene, and it’s a fun challenge to come out with something different every year,” said Jeff Zell, Panaracer’s ‘Global Go-To Guy’. “For 2021, we choose Pansy, because it’s a really beautiful and rich color that’s also rather unique, and pink because it has been the number-one requested color by Panaracer fans for a while now.”
The Gravel King colours are available in 700×32 mm and 38 mm, with shipping expected to commence in early-mid June. Customers can sign up for stock notifications on the Gravel King colours at Panaracerusa.com.
Despite the unusual colours, the grip characteristics shouldn’t be any different, according to Panaracer. The pansy blue and flamingo pink colour options are available across the Gravel King range. Pansy blue and tan side walls. Sign me up! Pink! The customers have spoken, Panaracer has listened. If you were looking for a bit more colour on your gravel bike, this might be a good way to do it. It seems unlikely the pink rubber will stay this clean for long, but it sure adds some zing to darker bikes.
