No holds barred with David Millar

A couple weeks ago (Friday, May 24th) Melbourne was treated to a luncheon with David Millar which raised money for the Grassroots Sports Club and the Mirabell Foundation. Special thanks to Corporate Cycling for putting on this fantastic event.

In this candid interview hosted by Matthew Keenan, David Millar tells of his life, his doping, and the evolution of cycling.

David Millar was a promising young cyclist who rose to the top through immense natural talent. He spent much of his career at two teams, Cofidis from 1997 to 2004 and Garmin-Sharp from 2008 to 2014. He won four stages of the Tour de France, five of the Vuelta a España and one stage of the Giro d’Italia.

Millar later was banned for two years in 2004 after admitting taking EPO. Upon his return from his ban, Millar became an anti-doping campaigner and now speaks openly about his past experiences.
