Introducing the 2022 CyclingTips Photo Journal

We’re proud of the feature-style content we produce here at CyclingTips. So much so that, every year, we create a collectable print publication that commits our best work to print, exclusively for VeloClub members.

This year is no different. The 2022 CyclingTips Photo Journal features 132 pages of stunning photography telling the story of the past 12 months of cycling. In a break from previous years the format for volume 4 is a photo journal showcasing the most talented cycling photographers on the planet, plus an exclusive essay from Iain Treloar.

“I hope this year’s CyclingTips Photo Journal and the changes we’ve made to it help to remind you of all the wonderful things that happened in cycling in 2021. After all, COVID gave us a spectacular wet Roubaix in early October that we could all enjoy …”

– Wade Wallace, CyclingTips Founder –

Sign up before Sunday as a ‘CT Insider’ for as little as US$7.99 per month and you’ll receive a copy of the 2022 Photo Journal which will be in the post in early March.

We take great pride in the fact we’re able to work with many of the best cycling photographers and journalists in the world.

Kristof Ramon

Shooting professional bike racing since La Flèche Wallonne in 2003, Kristof Ramon has developed a unique style, making his photography easily distinguishable. Kristof is a longtime friend of CT, and our photo journal would be incomplete without him.

Ashley and Jered Gruber

If you’ve followed cycling photography for any amount of time, it’s likely you’ve seen the work of the Grubers. Theirs is amongst the most striking in the sport, ranging from panoramas showcasing the magnificence of the mountains to fine human portraits of some of the biggest stars. This year we are excited to share Ashley’s work on the cover.

Iain Treloar

He doesn’t need too much of an introduction, but CyclingTips’ Senior Editor, Iain has found a niche writing long-form features, challenging the UCI, annoying dictators, reporting from races including the Tour de France, dabbling in tech, and captivating us with deep introspective pieces. We look forward to sharing an exclusive essay Iain has penned for our 2022 edition.
