As the new week begins, the teams currently known as Bahrain-McLaren and B&B Hotels-Vital Concept (both of which will have new names in 2021) revealed their new kits for 2021.

In other news, six team vehicles belonging to the Ineos Grenadiers were vandalized in Belgium. Four suspects were reportedly arrested.

Ineos Grenadiers team vehicles vandalized in Belgium

As Het Nieuwsblad reports, six team vehicles belongings to the Ineos Grenadiers were vandalized in Belgium. Police have reportedly arrested four people in connection with the incident, which happened in Deinze, where the team’s service course is located.

Some vehicles were spray painted with the words “Ineos will fall.” As Het Nieuwsblad notes, that slogan has been used by groups protesting the construction of a factory in Antwerp by Ineos, the chemical company that sponsors the cycling the team.

Bahrain-McLaren confirms new name and unveils kit

Confirming previous media reports, Bahrain-McLaren announced on Monday that it will race as Bahrain Victorious next season and also unveiled the team’s new-look kit for 2021.

The kit will feature significantly more red next year, and Bapco (the Bahrain Petroleum Company) receives prominent placement on the jersey as McLaren departs as a title sponsor.

B&B Hotels unveils new kit for 2021

French ProTeam B&B Hotels-Vital Concept, which will race as just B&B Hotels next year, has also unveiled its new look for 2021.

The kit keeps a similar color scheme with a heavy dose of the squad’s trademark “Glaz” teal but adds new patterns that, according to the team, is inspired by the team’s home region of Brittany.

Trinity Racing steps up to Continental level on the road, bolsters MTB lineup

Trinity Racing, the British team whose current roster includes versatile youngster Tom Pidcock (who is headed to Ineos next season), has announced that it will race at the Continental level on the road next season, and it has also added several mountain bike talents for 2021 as well.

Reigning Irish national road champ Ben Healy, a stage winner at last year’s Tour de l’Avenir, is among the promising young talents on the team. On the mountain bike side, the squad will feature Christopher Blevins, Haley Batten, Chiara Teocchi, and Alex Malacarne.
