A stunning new custom Scott Addict RC for world champion Annemiek van Vleuten

Supported by

Fresh off of her incredible rainbow stripe-earning solo ride at the UCI road world championship in Yorkshire, Annemiek van Vleuten (Mitchelton-Scott) has just taken delivery of a stunning new custom-painted Scott Addict RC aero road bike.

According to Scott, the special livery was inspired not only by the classic world champion rainbow colors, but also by Van Vleuten’s Dutch roots with tulip and windmill images nestled into the iridescent paint. There’s also homage paid to 105km she spent solo on her way to that memorable victory.

Rounding out the build is the standard team-issue laundry list of flagship components, including a complete Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 groupset and matching carbon tubular wheels wrapped with Pirelli rubber, a Syncros integrated carbon fiber aero cockpit, saddle, and seatpost, and Tacx bottles and cages.

There’s no word from Scott as to whether this special finish will be made available as some sort of limited edition for consumers — but one can hope.
