TEAM GARMIN-CERVELO – WOMEN: Huge week for the Garmin-Cervélo women’s team with seven medals at the National Championships..
ITALY: Noemi Cantele did the double by taking both the road race and the time trial. Cantele outsprinted Tatiana Guderzo to win her first elite road championship title.
UNITED KINGDOM: Lizzie Armitstead won the women’s British RR National Championships outsprinting Nicole Cooke, with Sharon Laws and Emma Pooley (Garmin-Cervelo) in third and fourth place, while Lucy Martin (Garmin-Cervelo) took 6th, 2nd in U23.

DENMARK: Trine Schmidt took her second bronze medal this week in the Women’s road race. On Thursday, she placed third in the Individual Time Trial.

BRAZIL: Murilo Fischer defended his road race title in style after a great solo win yesterday.
LITHUENIA: Former U23 National RR champion, Ramunas Navardauskas, can now in honour wear the Lithuanian colors in the pro-ranks after a great performance yesterday.
NORWAY: Thor Hushovd couldn’t retain his road race title that instead went to Alexander Kristoff (BMC) who won in a two-up sprint with Vegard Stake Laengen (Joker Merida). Hushovd was the best of the rest crossing the line 1m21s later for 3rd place.
