Dan Martin finishes Catalunya on GC podium
Dan Martin, Team Garmin-Cervélo, finished off a strong week of racing at the Volta a Catalunya with a third place in the general classification.
Alberto Contador wrapped up another GC victory at the Volta a Catalunya thanks to his solo win on Stage 3 where he gained enough time to easily hold onto his lead in the following stages eventually winning by 23 seconds over Michele Scarponi (Lampre) and 35 seconds from Dan Martin (Team Garmin – Cervélo).
