Spreading the Backcountry Love: ‘Responsible Recreation,’ a 5-Part Film Series

The final short in Bridger-Teton National Forest’s ‘Responsible Recreation’ film series just dropped. Get the full story here.

If you’re wondering how to get outside responsibly, specifically in Wyoming, look no further. Freelance writer and photographer Andy Cochrane helped the fine folks at Bridger-Teton National Forest produce a whimsical film series that covers the dos and don’ts of playing outside.

Now, this isn’t a dry rundown of Leave No Trace principles or generalized how-tos. Nope. These films are character-driven snapshots into a few very popular backcountry topics.

They are stories of ski guides (in this episode), pro snowmobile riders, research scientists, trail fairies, and more. These experts are the type of folks who help all of us recreate more safely, and they have fun while doing so.

Find the full series in the following list.
