Cycling deals are aplenty during the holiday season. It takes more than a percentage discount to garner my attention.
I get a lot of pitches at this time of the year, and most don’t warrant anything but a scan of the subject line. But one from ENVE Composites got my attention; the lauded brand hardly discounts its prices, and if they do, it’s not by much. But this year’s Black Friday pitch includes free products with a wheelset purchase for each category and is too sweet not to share.
Gravel ENVE Sale
Buy a G Series Wheelset (starts at $2,550) and get a Free G Series Dropper Post, which sells for $325! This wheelset is my favorite for gravel, and I’ve tested plenty. They have survived years of abuse, and I have yet to turn a spoke wrench on them.
The G Series Dropper post lowers the saddle by 40mm by cable actuation, just enough to manage the rougher sections of your gravel route. I can’t wait to get mine.
Road: SES Wheelset Deal
Buy any SES wheelset (starts at $2,850) and get $250 credit for the sweet new ENVE apparel. I didn’t understand why ENVE branched off into casual wear, but when I got the Men’s Insulated Button Down, I’m glad they did.
It is one of the nicest-looking things in my closet, and I feel cool, dare I say hip, when I’m sporting it about town. And the SES wheels are by far the fastest-feeling wheels on the flats I’ve tested.
Mountain Bike M Series Wheels Deal
Buy an M Series wheelset (starts at $2,550) and get an M Series Bar and Alloy Stem (package value of $330). This combination would be one heck of an upgrade! Wheels, bar, and stem at the same time. Your bike would feel so different!
I’ve been on M Series MTB wheels since ENVE started offering them, and I have yet to have to true any of them, which is impressive to me. I have a penchant for destroying rear wheels, and ENVE is the only brand I haven’t beaten out of true.

When Can I Score?
This deal starts on Nov. 28 and continues through the third week of December at ENVE.com.
No doubt any ENVE wheelset is a ton of cash. But, like me, you may move the wheels from bike to bike for a decade or more.
And I can attest to their durability and performance. I am not just saying that. I have tested many brands and have yet to be disappointed with any ENVE production wheelset.
These wheels’ retail cost may render it a present to yourself. Hopefully, you have been an exemplary human all year. And if you can swing it, these deals will provide additional upgrades that will surely make you smile for the next year, at least.
